Business Unit
This business unit has two sub units, i.e. Magnetic Media and Optical Media, each has its own production plant.
Magnetic Media
Beginning with the production of magnetic tape under MAXELL brand back in early 1970s, Panggung Electric Citrabuana eventually gains recognition as the largest magnetic tape manufacturer in Indonesia.
In the late 1980s, we observed a wide demand of medium-priced range of cassette tapes. We therefore manufacture cassette under our own brand, PANAREC, which pave our way to the export market all over the world. Henceforward, we continue to manufacture numerous kinds of cassette tape product under the OEM term.
Optical Media
Started in 2001, we established Optical Media business to fulfill the growing market demands of Audio CD, Data CD, Music Video CD, and Video CD. Our CD Replication technology is licensed by Philips and IFPI registered.
So far, these products are oriented for domestic market. The main customers of these products are recording companies, such as Sony BMG, Musica Studio, Warner Music, etc.
