Panggung Electric Citrabuana’s rise to prominence as the foremost Indonesian manufacturer of electronic goods can be traced back to its initial focus on the production of magnetic media. The group in 1973 was named the primary distributor and manufacturer of audio cassette tapes or audio magnetic tapes for Japan-based consumer electronics company MAXELL, and through this partnership benefitted from direct access to know how on production processes and managerial methods to ensure adherence to international standards of production. From this platform, the company developed its own audio cassette brand, PANAREC, to meet the needs of markets overseas and capitalize on its global reputation as a trustworthy manufacturer of magnetic media. Further cooperation with OEMs and a still ongoing business relationship with MAXELL have since seen the company become the largest producer of audio cassette tapes in Indonesia, predominantly serving developing markets where this technology is still used for purposes such as language learning.

1. Audio Cassette Tape
Audio cassette tape has many synonyms, i.e. blank cassette tape, blank audio cassette tape , audio magnetic tape. audio cassette, audio tape, blank audio cassette, blank audio cassette tapes, blank audio tapes, or cassette magnetic tape. PT. Panggung Elecctric Citrabuana manufactures this product in Sidoarjo, a small town at the south of Surabaya, the second lergest city in Indonesia. PT. Panggung is the only audio cassette tape manufacturer in south east asia countries.
We run the production of audio cassette tape with fully automatic assembly machine, which we bought from MAXELL Japan. The main material of this product, i.e. jumbo web magnetic tape, has good physical and electronc properties which is acceptable by MAXELL’s high standard. Besides, all components we use for this audio cassette tape product are ROHS’ free. Our top management has committed to implement ISO-9001 quality system management since 1996. 2. Audio Pancakes Reel
Audio pancake reel has many synonyms too, i.e. audio cassette pancake, audio tape pancake, audio pancake, audio pancake tapes, pancake magnetic audio recording tape, pancake tapes. The main material we use for this audio pancake reel is the same with above audio cassette tape. We supply this product with two specification:
- Type C-90, with tape length of 3,680 meters, 1 roll contain 27 pcs.
- Type C-60, with tape length of 2,460 meters, 1 roll contain 27 pcs.
3. Audio Cassette Housing
Our audio cassette housing, which is also called as empty audio cassette, c-0 empty cassette, c-0 audio cassette, C-zero cassette, has Wool pad that enhance the noise reduction and Tin shield that improve recording quality. This two features are also included in our audio cassette tape product.
