As you might know, Indonesia government currently applies a mandatory 20 percent local content requirement for 4G LTE smartphone and other subscriber devices, locally abbreviated as TKDN (Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri). The requirement will be raised to 30% in 2017. The compliance of this requirement is in the form of TKDN Certificate issued by the Ministry of Industry Indonesia.

Indonesia government also requires every 4G LTE devices that is made, assembled, or imported for commercial use to meet certain technical requrements. The compliance of these requirements is in the form of Type Approval Certificate issued by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics Indonesia.
